“A genre-crossing songwriter with a fine gift for story telling”

Tony Hardy, Glastonbury Emerging Talent

An invite as music producer to work at Warner UK Studios, an inclusion on the prestigious BBC Introducing list of ‘Ones To Watch’ 2022 and A SECOND APPEarance scheduled at Glastonbury festival in 2023 - it’s fair to say 2021 had been a ‘bust down the door and smile on the other side’ year for Maverick Singer -songwriter and Self-Producer Alex Hall.

His Cinematic Pop - meets Lo-Fi - meets anthemic Indie Pop songs (such as Pterodactyl and Still Hurts) are dazzling explosive modern pop earworms, where cutting edge production chops fuse effortlessly with english sensibility and guy-next-door sentiments. As a songwriting he has been described a Ray Davis fOR our times’ by Glastonbury Emerging TALENT judge Tony Hardy, and has garnered avid praise from Grammy Award winning heavyweight engineer Jon Jacobs.

An adept multi-instrumentalist; his ambitious live show, incorporates VFX and a remarkable and a daring experience where alex unexpectedly roams between synths, guitars, drum pads, keyboards, pianos and trumpets.

His most recent release in January 2022, the Double A-Side of “I Swear That It Was Love” and “2019” which was playlisted for a staggering five consecutive weeks by BBC Introducing points towards 2023 being a tipping point year for Hall, as his following continues to grow as an artist - and the mainstream audience Hall truly deserves begins to wake up to the outstanding and inspiring gifts of this UNIQUE musician.
